Beginner Birding Workshop

Nature Moncton welcomes all budding birding enthusiasts to the Beginner Birding workshop! Participants will learn how to use binoculars, how to use the free bird identification app called Merlin, what are the most common bird species likely to seen in the area, and where are the birding hot spots in Greater Moncton.
After the indoor portion of the workshop, the group will head outside to walk the Mill Creek trails in hopes to put their birding skills to good use.
Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars if they have a pair. However, a few extra pairs will be available to share if needed.
Weather appropriate clothing and footwear required for outdoor portion of the workshop.
This free workshop will be led by Cathy Simon, local birder and member of the Nature Moncton club.
