Light Up Riverview

Each year thousands of residents and visitors alike come together over hot cocoa and festive carols to light up the Town and make the pines along the Petitcodiac sparkle. Light Up Riverview is a fun-filled destination and tradition that draws family and friends together to celebrate the upcoming holiday season. 

This special celebration also marks the launch of the holiday shopping season where local businesses shine bright! Visit the Riverfront Trail between the Mayor's Light Launch on November 20 and January 4 to take it all in. This is one tradition you won't want to miss. 
A reminder that wet weather can sometimes trip the GFI outlets and cause temporary disruptions with the lights. We appreciate your understanding in advance if issues occur during periods of rain. 

Together, let's lift and brighten spirits across our community! This year, for our Merry and Bright Challenge, participating local businesses are lighting up their storefront with festive holiday lights that will be featured on a digital map. We're also inviting residents to join in the fun by decorating their homes and helping Riverview shine even brighter!

Holiday Hoopla

As part of the Light Up Festival, Holiday Hoopla Weekend takes place December 6th to 8th! The Town has a fantastic lineup of events and activities in store for you to stay active during the busiest month of the year. There's something for all ages, and all Parks & Recreation facilities are offering their events for FREE! Enjoy the spirit of the season and take advantage of all that Riverview has to offer.
