Beginner Birding Workshop
Cathy Simon, local birder and Nature Moncton president, welcomes all budding bird enthusiasts to learn where the birding hot spots are in the area, and what bird species are most likely to be seen and how to use the free bird identification app, Merlin.
Following a brief indoor presentation, participants will head outside to walk the Mill Creek Nature Park trails in hopes to put their birding skills to good use.
Bring binoculars if you have them. Extras will be available to share if needed. Outdoor, weather appropriate clothing and footwear is required.
