Notice: Lane Reduction and Water Service Interruption on Coverdale Road – June 8

The Town of Riverview advises residents that water main construction work will take place at the intersection of Coverdale Road and Biggs Drive beginning Monday, June 8.

During this time, Coverdale Road will be reduced to a single lane of traffic from 6 p.m. on June 8 until the afternoon of Tuesday, June 9, weather permitting. To increase safety during the construction work, the traffic lights at the intersection will be set to flashing mode.

Residents and drivers are encouraged to exercise patience and caution, and to remain vigilant when traveling through the construction zone.

As part of the work, a portion of properties on Coverdale Road from Trites Road to Wentworth Drive will experience a temporary water service interruption while the work is underway. Affected residents and businesses have been contacted directly with more details.  

The Town of Riverview apologizes for any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciates the public’s cooperation and understanding.
