Water Main Repair on Coverdale Road – November 19

The Town of Riverview will be completing a planned water main repair on Coverdale Road on Wednesday evening, November 19. To safely complete this work, a partial road closure will be in place, with signage to direct traffic flow.

To help reduce impacts on commuters, crews will begin work after the evening rush hour, with the primary repair scheduled to take place at 10:00 p.m. This timing is intended to minimize disruption for nearby residents.

As part of the repair, a portion of properties between 755–830 Coverdale Road will experience a temporary water service interruption while the work is underway. Affected residents and businesses have been contacted directly with more details.

Because this is a major water main for the community, there is always a possibility that unexpected issues could cause broader impacts. Should any advisories or extended interruptions arise, the Town will communicate updates promptly. A reminder that our dashboard at RIVERVIEWALERTS.CA will always be updated with emergency news and advisories when applicable.

We thank residents for their patience and understanding while this essential infrastructure work is completed. The Town continues to work closely with contractors, affected households, partner organizations, and the Department of Health to ensure the repair is carried out as efficiently and safely as possible.
