The Town of Riverview is currently accepting applications for Volunteer Firefighters with Riverview Fire & Rescue.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Proof of high school diploma or GED
- Valid New Brunswick Class 5 Driver’s License
- Completion of the Province of New Brunswick Firefighter Level 1 certificate program within two years of start date and level 2 certificate program within 3 years of start date.
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sectors Screening, meeting Town standards
- Applicants shall be residents of the Town of Riverview or live within a 9-minute return to station time (assessed by use of the GIS map) Station address is: 650 Pinewood Road, Riverview, NB. Proof of address will be required.
*Applicants will be subject to physical agility testing and must meet the medical requirements of Riverview Fire & Rescue.
Note: There will be an “Information Session” for candidates and their significant others held on:
- Wednesday, August 27 at 7:00pm, at the Riverview Fire Station.
