Youth Programmer, Skatepark
The Town of Riverview Skatepark/Youth Centre is currently seeking applicants for the position of Youth Programmer, Skatepark. The ideal candidate has experience supervising youth; youth centered leadership and motivation in addition to planning and facilitating youth activities and events. This position requires availability for afternoon, evening and weekend shifts for approximately 17 hours per week during the school year with the possibility of additional hours. The hourly rate of pay for this position is $13/hour.

Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of one year post-secondary studies in recreation/leisure studies, social science, youth services or equivalent work experience.
- Proven leadership and supervision of youth; experience planning and facilitating youth activities and events.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet research.
- Valid Workplace Standard First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and New Brunswick Driver’s Abstract, meeting Town’s expectations.
- Ability to effectively work with children and youth of varying ages and members of the public.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sectors Screening, meeting Town’s expectations.
- Experience, knowledge and interest in skateboarding, an asset.
