Non-Essential Services and Programs Delayed Due to Severe Weather

Riverview, N.B. – February 23, 2026 – Due to ongoing severe weather conditions, Riverview non-essential municipal services and programs will be delayed on Tuesday until 10 a.m. The Town’s Emergency Measures team continues to monitor the situation overnight and into the morning.

Town facilities such as the Pat Crossman Memorial Aquatic Center and the Byron Dobson Arena will be closed on Tuesday morning in alignment with storm closure protocols for weekdays. Afternoon and evening programs will be reassessed based on weather and road conditions.

Residents are encouraged to stay up-to-date by checking the Riverview Alerts and Closures and Cancellations page, as well as the Town’s social media channels for the latest information.

If conditions improve, updates regarding operations for the remainder of the day will be provided Tuesday morning.
