Riverview is Ready to Roll: Name Our New Outdoor All-Wheels Park
The Riverview Recreation Complex — currently under construction at the corner of the Runneymeade Road and Bridgedale Boulevard roundabout — will be a community hub that generates connection and encourages health and well-being for Riverview residents and visitors alike. Part of this vision is an outdoor component in need of a name — an All-Wheels Park where world-class riding features will blend with the natural backdrop of Mill Creek Nature Park.
Planners have designed a layout that is non-obtrusive to the natural backdrop of the Park, while offering top-quality features designed for all skills and abilities. The layout allows users a seamless access point with a rollable trail from the parking lot, as well as features designed to enhance learning progression and accessibility. All inflection points and curved surfaces feature pigmented concrete, and there will be mellow transitions and extended grinding surfaces.
From skateboards and scooters to bikes, rollerblades, and wheelchairs, this park is for everyone — and who better to name it than the community for whom it’s made?
You are invited to be part of the story and help us choose the official name for Riverview’s newest future landmark.
