Presentation by Operations and Supt. Benoit Jolette – Council heard a presentation regarding the role of the RCMP to better understand the support they provide.

- Council approved the 2023 RHS Grade Parade Route 

- Council approved the tri-community emergency response plan

BY-LAWS   
First reading, by title only 

By-Law 100-10-06, By-Law Relating to the Proceedings of The Council of the Town of Riverview – Council voted to amend the proposed amendment by inserting the words “in an Open Session” with relation to the election of the Deputy Mayor.  

NEW BUSINESS   

Electric Charging Stations – Mayor LeBlanc presented Council with an update on a project to get an electric vehicle charging station in Town to service residents and tourist demand. Council passed a motion to continue working with partners for more information on grants and opportunities available for the Town to take advantage of electric vehicle charging stations. Mayor LeBlanc will continue to work on this and will report back to Council with more information. 

NEXT MEETING  

The next Committee of the Whole Meeting will be February 27, 2023.   
Council will next meet for the Regular Council meeting on Monday, March 13 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be live-streamed on our website.
