ADOPTION OF THE MINUTES 

• Regular Council Meeting - December 12, 2022

PETITIONS, PRESENTATIONS & DELEGATION

• Presentation by Frances LeBlanc, Executive Director - Hospice SENB - An update was given on the important work that Hospice SENB is doing to serve our community.

NEW BUSINESS   

a. Proposed Amendment to Procedural By-Law - A motion to make amendments to the procedural by-law as it relates to the election of the Deputy Mayor was made by Councillor Johnson.

b. Approval of Purchase and Sale Agreement - PID 05041710 & PID 05026612 - Riverview Town Council passed a motion to approve the purchase price of $275,000 (plus HST) for PIDs 05041710 and 05026612 from Albert County Forestry Limited and give staff direction to finalize the details to close this land transaction.

c. Grant Report - January 2023 - A grant was awarded to the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra in the amount of $600.  A grant was also awarded to Riverview Pickleball in the amount of $300.

d. Award of RFP 2022-35 Accessible Transportation Services - Riverview Town Council passed a motion to award RFP 2022-35 for Accessible Transportation Services to Wheels on Wheels Inc.

e. Award of Tender 23-65 Two (2) New 2023 1-Ton Chassis & Cab Truck - GVW of 6350kg - Riverview Town Council passed a motion to award Tender 23-65 for the Supply & Delivery of Two New Latest Model Chassis & Crew Cab Trucks at a cost of $146,920.00 (plus HST) to Fairview Plymouth Chrysler Ltd.

f. Award of Tender 23-66 One (1) New 2023 Single Axle Truck Cab and Chassis - GVW 43,000 lbs - Riverview Town Council passed a motion to award Tender 23-66 for One (1) New 2023 Single Axle Truck Cab and Chassis - GVW 43,000 lbs at a cost of $160,775.00 (plus HST) to Universal Truck and Trailer.

g. Alternate Procurement - Award of Tender 23-75 Tractor & Flail Mower - Riverview Town Council passed a motion to award Tender 23-75 for one (1) New 2023 four-wheel drive tractor with boom flail mower at a cost of $ 237,094.00 (plus HST) to SNT Solutions through Canoe Procurement.

h. Award of Tender 23-76 Tractor & Cold Planer - Riverview Town Council passed a motion to award Tender 23-76 for one (1) New 2023 four-wheel drive tractor with cold planer at a cost of $ 238,045.00 (plus HST) to Saunders Equipment Ltd.

i. Award of Tender 23-77 Truck Mounted Long Line Road Painter - Riverview Town Council passed a motion to award Tender 23-77 for a Truck Mounted Long Line Road Painter at a cost of $103,100.00 (plus HST) to Stinson Equipment QC Inc.

COUNCIL STATEMENTS/INQUIRIES 

• Mayor Andrew J. LeBlanc acknowledged that 2023 is Riverview's 50th Anniversary year! There will be enhanced events and activities throughout the year for residents to take part in.
• Councillor Cassista gave an update on UMNB and announced that the Town of Riverview's Age-Friendly Survey is now available in print and digital copies for residents to share their responses.
   

NEXT MEETING  

The next Committee of the Whole Meeting will be January 23, 2023.
