Notice: Road Closure – Whitepine Road From Cleveland Avenue to Pine Glen Road

The Town of Riverview wishes to advise the motoring public that a section of Whitepine Road, between Cleveland Avenue and Pine Glen Road, will be fully closed to traffic for a period of ten weeks commencing Monday, July 7 at 6:30 a.m. to mid September, including weekends.  

Temporary access will be maintained for all affected properties. 

During this time, pedestrian and cyclists will be asked to follow signage and direction provided by the flag person on site. Cyclists may have to walk their bikes along the construction zone.  

The extended road closure will allow crews to complete the reconstruction of the road and associated infrastructures. Motorists will follow marked detours and a flag person will be located at each road closure barricade. 

The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the public’s patience during construction.
