Planned Power Outage on November 27

NB Power will carry out a planned power outage in Riverview on Thursday, November 27, from 6 a.m. to around 12 p.m. (noon). 

The outage is needed to support electrical connections for new residential construction in the area.

To safely complete this work, several Town of Riverview facilities within the outage zone will be temporarily closed during this period. 

The following locations will be impacted:

• Byron Dobson Memorial Arena, 90 Biggs Drive
• Riverview Indoor Skatepark and Youth Centre, 145 Lakeside Drive
• Riverview Community Hall, 145 Lakeside Drive
• Reaching for Rainbows Child Development Centre, 145 Lakeside Drive
• Fitness Studio and Parks Office, 55 Biggs Drive
• Codiac Woodworkers Guild, 51 Biggs Drive

Residents in the affected area will be contacted directly by NB Power with information about the outage.

While the outage is scheduled to end around noon, there is always a possibility that work may extend longer than anticipated. Should any timelines change, the Town will share updates promptly. Please check the Closures and Cancellations page for additional information.
