Riverview Artists Invited to Submit Proposals for 2025 Summer Art Exhibit
(RIVERVIEW, NB) - The Town of Riverview invites local artists to submit their work for the fifth annual Art Exhibit organized by the Town of Riverview Art Procurement Committee, and held at the Riverview Public Library. We would like to thank the Riverview Public Library for allowing us to display up to 40 pieces of artwork for this Summer Exhibit which will take place from June 17 - July 16, 2025. The citizen-led committee may also select and purchase artwork on the Town’s behalf to add to the Town’s art collection.
Submission forms may be found online or can be picked up at the Library (30 Honour House Ct.) or the Parks and Recreation Office (55 Biggs Dr.). Forms must be received by 4:30 p.m. on June 5, 2025 and must meet the requirements in the APP Policy. Artwork must be dropped off at the Riverview Public Library on Thursday, June 12, between 4- 6 p.m.

The artwork must be deemed appropriate for the Town’s collection based on the selection criteria established by the APP policy. The Town of Riverview's Art Procurement Program aims to improve the appearance of our public buildings, promote local talent, and contribute to the economic success of artists in our community. In 2024, the Art Procurement Program Committee selected and purchased six pieces from the summer exhibit, and the public voted on “Sandpiper Piping” by Hailey Hamilton as the “Viewers Choice” artwork to be purchased. The other six pieces of artwork purchased can be viewed below or on our digital art gallery page.
