Hero
Riverview Town Hall
Mayor

Andrew LeBlanc was elected as Mayor in May 2021. He was first elected as Councillor-at-Large in May 2012 and again in 2016 and was elected Deputy Mayor in May 2020. His years of work in the nonprofit sector with youth and families and his desire to help create a sound strategy for long-term growth that fits the vision of our Town, are what motivated him to run for public office.

In addition to serving the community on Council, Andrew is Executive Director of Atlantic Wellness Community Centre and has worked more than two decades in the non-profit sector. He is passionate about building a safe and inclusive community where residents of all generations, cultures and backgrounds can feel welcome, involved, and at home.

A long-time community leader, Andrew was awarded the Top-20-Under-40 Award from the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Moncton and was one of the Rotary 101 Resiliency Award recipients.

Andrew and his wife, Patricia, are happy to be raising their daughter, Amelia, in the same community they both grew up in. Music is also a favourite pastime and Andrew plays with the local acoustic trio The AJs.
