Town of Riverview / Winter Geocaching Challenge

This initiative is proudly organized by community volunteers.

How to complete the challenge:

  1. Learn how to geocache here.
  2. Print out your 2023 Geocacheport and load up the caches* to your device.
  3. Bundle up, embrace the cold and explore Riverview's trails for the 5 hidden geocaches!
  4. Complete your geocacheport using the codes found inside each cache. 
  5. Turn in your geocacheport for a limited edition 2023 Winter Carnival geocoin!
    *Only 100 geocoins available, one geocoin per geocaching account.

*Caches will be published on Wednesday, February 8th. Please note, the Town and community volunteers do not control what time the caches are published. Check the geocaching website often.

To pick up your trackable, limited edition Riverview Winter Carnival 2023 Geocoin:

  • Pick up your coin from community volunteers. Click here for event details. Note, this will be the first opportunity to snag one!
  • If you miss the event you can stop by Riverview Parks and Recreation, 55 Biggs Drive, open Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • If you miss the event, you can leave a self addressed, 2 stamped envelope in the Parks and Recreation mailbox, 55 Biggs Drive.

This year's design is inspired by the 2022 sustainable snowshoe art design by Matt Robinson and Sheldon Benoit completed at the Mill Creek Nature Park lookout, also known as 1 of 50 Amazing Places designated by the Fundy Biosphere Reserve.
