Location & Time: Mill Creek Nature Park Lookout at 6-7:30 p.m.

Join friendly park leaders for nature-based programing in Mill Creek Nature Park this summer. Below is a list of weekly themes and activities:

- June 27 Multiculturalism DayJoin us, this Tuesday June 27th for a celebration campfire for Multiculturalism Day! Meet at Mill Creek Nature Park an evening filled with music, s’mores, flag decorating, and smiles. Be sure to remember your own lawn chair, as well as a cup for some refreshing iced tea.

- July 4 Game Night: This week, bring the whole family out to the lookout at Mill Creek Nature Park for some fun backyard games from the Town’s very own Equipment Loan program. Join us for Giant Jenga and Connect 4, as well as some maritime classics like washer toss. 

- July 11 Nature PhotographyHave you ever wanted to capture some of the beautiful landscapes Riverview has to offer? Join us for some guided information about Nature photography with a special guest. Be prepared for an amazing night of learning at our weekly campfire.

- July 18 Outdoor Cooking: Getting fresh air, gorgeous lookout scenery, campfire smiles, and food. What more could you want? Join us for an evening filled with creative ways of cooking food outside and some yummy treats, including waffle cone s’mores!

- July 25 Saving Seeds: Take the opportunity to learn about native seed planting from the Sentinelles Petitcodiac Riverkeeper and gain some hands-on experience to make your own seed starter pot that you can take home! 

- August 1 Paint Night: [Registration is full - join the waitlist hereGet ready to unleash your creativity at this week's campfire! We will be participating in a guided paint night at Mill Creek Nature Park, so be sure to grab a friend to create something beautiful with our provided supplies and instructions.

- August 10 Bark in the Park: *Due to inclement weather, Bark in the Park was postponed to Thursday August 10. Bring yourself and your leashed dog to this week’s campfire! Spend time with others around the fire and enjoy the treats provided for everyone! (Human and dog treats will be provided)

*August 15: There will be no campfire programming on Acadian Day as staff will be at an Acadian professional development opportunity. We encourage everyone to participate in the Acadian Day contest!

- August 22 Happy Birthday Mill Creek Nature Park: For our final campfire programming of the season, join us for Mill Creek Nature Park's 10th Birthday! Stay tuned for more information
