Art Procurement Committee

Calling all art enthusiasts - Are you passionate about Arts and Culture? Would you like to be part of helping to promote local area talent? The Town of Riverview Art Procurement Committee needs you.

This committee was set up to work toward enhancing the appearance of Town facilities as well as serve as a way to contribute to the professional development and economic success of local area artists. Members will have the opportunity to serve on the committee for a year (which may be extended if desired). While appointed, members may be part of suggesting what “project” the committee wants to spearhead that year - i.e. a month long art show in partnership with the Riverview library, a theme for the artwork callout, new locations that would benefit from artwork, etc. 

Meetings are infrequent and seasonal, with typically a few meetings leading up to a call out in the spring, and another later in the year before the artwork gets installed.
