Welcome to the Pat Crossman Memorial Aquatic Centre, a six-lane, 25‑metre indoor pool offering lessons, programs, and aquatic fun for all ages.

  • Indoor Schedule
  • Please note: Aquafit on Apr 20, 21, and 22 is cancelled and will be replaced by an extended Social Swim (9:30-11:20a.m.). Normal programming will resume the following week.

Before Your Visit

  • Memberships & Rates: Please review our current rates and purchase online.
  • Admission Requirements: Familiarize yourself with our admission requirements, including age restrictions and adult supervision policies.
    • Children aged 10 and under must take a swim test to access the deep end independently.
    • Those 11 and up can swim alone, although a buddy is recommended.
  • Swim Caps: All swimmers must wear a swim cap at our indoor pool. Caps are available for purchase at our front desk.

I CAN SWIM Lessons 

Our I Can Swim program helps swimmers build confidence and swimming skills in a fun, safe environment. 

Swimming Lesson Registration

  • Spring session registration opened March 19, 2026 at 10 a.m.
  • You can view available swimming lessons by following the link here.
  • Summer session registration opens June 4, 2026.

Extra Support

Our Hand in Hand program offers tailored assistance. To participate, complete the form before or after registration. Availability is limited. 

Track Progress 

View your swimmer’s achievements anytime through our Report Card Portal. Digital report cards are posted at the end of each session. 

Lifeguard & Swim Instructor Pathway

If your swimmer feels at home in the water and is ready for a challenge, our lifeguarding pathway is a great way to turn that interest into confidence, leadership skills, and future employment opportunities.

Through a series of nationally recognized courses, participants build lifesaving skills step-by-step in a fun, supportive environment right here at the Riverview pool.

Drop-in Programs

  • Lap Swim: For swimmers seeking to build endurance with focused training in the water.
  • Senior and Tot Swim: For those aged 60 and above, or for parents with little ones aged 4 and under, offering lap and leisure lanes.
  • Open Swim: For swimmers of all ages, come have fun in the water. Use of diving board and toys is permitted in this swim. Swim Test and Admission requirements apply.
  • Aquafit: A 45-minute guided workout led by one of our wonderful instructors, ensuring a fun and effective workout. We offer drop-in rates, or 10 or 20 Punch Pass.

The Embracing Responsibility Scholarship 

The Embracing Responsibility Scholarship was established by the Town of Riverview to recognize the contributions of Barb Hurlbut, who served as the former Aquatics Coordinator for over three decades. 

  • Award: $2,000 annually
  • Eligible applicants: All pool staff, including customer service representatives
  • Purpose: Recognizing dedication to water safety and mentorship

Competitive Swimming

The Pat Crossman Memorial Aquatic Centre is home to the Codiac Vikings Aquatic Club (CVAC). They offer professional coaching for a variety of ages and abilities.
